iMac 24 inch Core 2 Duo 2.8Ghz standard configuration. My trusty old Powerbook died on me some days ago. Ironically, this purchase was made on the first day of GSS 2008. The screen is gorgeous and huge. Most useful for print work where I can see a spread. I u're a hardcore video person, go for the MacBook Pros or MacPros. Otherwise, this is a good invetsment for everything else.

Thanks Shannon! Air is primarily targeted at people on the go, short hauls. I reckoned u may have checked out yourself, they're very light and very portable. It is still powerful enough for casual to mid photo editing. Even if you purchase additional a MacBook Air SuperDrive, the combine weight and size is still very portable. U will appreciate it' size and weight if you're always on the go. It'll gives u the extra space you need for that report or ya fav magazine. Need a bigger screen? Just hook up to a external display.
